Yoga represents an increasingly popular form of exercise that offers many health benefits, particularly to special populations, such as older adults, sedentary individuals, or people with chronic pain. Participating in a yoga practice has the potential to provide non-pharmacological approaches to alleviating pain, increase physical activity and fitness, and reduce sedentary time.
