This presentation, geared to the health-fitness practitioner, will review seminal and recent studies regarding the impact of regular aerobic exercise/resistance training on aerobic capacity, musculoskeletal strength/endurance, cardiovascular and all-cause mortality, cognitive and sexual function, the postponement of disability, fundamentals of exercise prescription for older adults, and inspirational case studies.
