Description

Optimal Recovery: Practical Recommendations for the Recreational Athlete sponsored by ENC

Trained athletes understand that optimal recovery from strenuous exercise can help maximize performance and minimize injury risk. Appropriate recovery practices play an important role in helping active individuals replenish lost nutrients, and facilitate muscle repair and synthesis. But what are the components of recovery, and what can recreational athletes and active individuals learn from elite athletes regarding recovery from a nutrition and physical perspective? This session will provide practical recommendations for optimal recovery for the recreational athlete.

Viewpoints presented in this webinar reflect opinions of the presenter and ENC and do not reflect positions or policies of ACSM.
